Natives Rising: Promoting Partnerships

Natives Rising is a Native woman-led nonprofit that supports Indigenous communities through economic and emotional empowerment. Today, Natives Rising continues to grow as a 501(c)(3), helping Indigenous women and families thrive through education, advocacy, and community-led programs.

In summer 2024, I worked with Natives Rising and The Pursuit of STEM on a high school camp that introduced Indigenous students to emerging tech fields. With support from partners like Google, Microsoft, the U.S. State Department, and Homeland Security, students gained hands-on experience in coding, AI, and cybersecurity. I led marketing and social media strategy, created photo and video content, and developed promotional materials to highlight the program and its partners.

Results:
Social media traffic tripled during the campaign, helping amplify the program’s impact and visibility to funders, partners, and Indigenous communities nationwide.
